Tyvek® is the only product with a unique functional layer that is entirely made up of millions of unique micro fibres. These are bonded together to create a maze that stops water penetrating, whilst allowing water vapour to freely move through the fibres (pores).

Moisture management and protection from the external elements

Minimises air and water ingress, whilst allowing moisture to migrate freely and safely into the atmosphere as required in Building Regulations/Standards (Tyvek® high vapour permeability).

Tyvek® Supro Plus

Tyvek® Supro With Integral Adhesive Lap Tape

A Tyvek® non-ventilated pitched roof system will help to minimise the risk of condensation, but air infiltration and convective heat losses can also be reduced.

This can be achieved by sealing all laps, penetrations and around the perimeter of a Tyvek® membrane with adhesive tape.

In addition to controlling condensation, the overall energy efficiency of a non-ventilated pitched roof system can be further improved by specifying Tyvek® Supro Plus.

Tyvek® Enercor® Roof

is a vapour open roof underlay with a metallised surface which keeps radiant heat out in summer and helps to reduce heat loss in winter.

Tyvek® Enercor® Roof should be used in unsupported (tiled/slated) roofs and fits also for profiled cladding (metal sheet) pitched roofs.

Tyvek® Enercor® membranes in combination with the VCL DuPont™ AirGuard® and some minor installation specialities offer significantly energy savings of up to 15%.

Suitable for open or ventilated cladding in timber, metal, stone and other materials.

Tyvek UV Facade nsures optimum protection of the insulation and structure in open or ventilated cladding constructions from sunlight, wind and water. The product fits naturally also for standard wall application.

Facades with open rainscreen cladding offer new design options, but the insulation and structure still require effective, lifelong protection from the harmful effects of the elements to which it is constantly exposed. In particular UV radiation can compromise the long-term performance of secondary protection membranes.

Consequently, DuPont have developed Tyvek® UV Facade, an advanced protective membrane specifically designed to meet the needs of open cladding constructions. Tyvek® UV Facade ensures optimum protection of the insulation and structure in open or ventilated cladding constructions from sunlight, wind and moisture for up to 50 years.
