Celotex manufacture products suitable for pitched and flat roofs, walls and floors. They have solutions for internal dry lining with our plasterboard thermal laminate and a Class O range when project specifications demand enhanced fire performance.
Recent introductions to the Celotex range include a 'torch-on' board for flat roofing systems as well as a high impact solution for concrete soffit floors which combines premium PIR insulation with a layer of calcium silicate.
Insulation specialists, Celotex, have again broken through a technology barrier by offering improved thermal performance by lowering our lambda value on most of their products from 0.023W/mK to 0.022W/mK, with resulting increases in R-Values. These performance improvements will help achieve better U-values and thinner solutions
Celotex have rebranded their improved products the '4000' series. For example, Celotex GA3000 becomes Celotex GA4000 and Celotex XR3150 changes to Celotex XR4150. These changes reflects Celotex's improvement in product performance, and highlights the improved thermal performance of the boards.

Celotex GA4000 is a general purpose insulation board for floors, walls and roofs. It has long been at the heart of the Celotex product range providing the user with a range of thermal insulation solutions.
With low emissivity foil facings, GA4000 is manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) uniquely reinforced with glass fibre (except GA4100) using a blend of blowing agents that have zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and a low global warming impact.

Celotex XR4000 is targeted at ‘cut-to-fit’ applications between rafters or joists and enables users to achieve lower U-values with a single layer of insulation than has previously been possible. XR4000 is also appropriate for use in floors and walls.
This 200mm thick product positions Celotex as the manufacturer of both the thickest and thinnest PIR insulation available.

Celotex TA4000 is a purpose-designed board for use with mechanically fixed and ballasted single-ply weathering systems. It provides a quick and easy method of achieving effective thermal insulation in flat roofing structures.
Manufactured with foil facings and specifically for use in mechanically fixed and ballasted single-ply systems, TA4000 boards have a higher compressive strength which gives improved resistance to site traffic during installation.

Celotex Tempchek Deck TD4000
Celotex TD4000 provides a quick and easy way to achieve effective thermally insulated flat roof decks for building structures such as small extensions or garage roofs where there will only be occasional trafficking.
Celotex TD4000 features a foil faced insulation board, to give the best insulation value bonded to a facing of 5.5mm WBP ply. TD4000 is 5.5mm WBP exterior grade plywood upper facing bonded to rigid polyisocyanurate foam board, manufactured using zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) blowing agents with low global warming potential.

With low emissivity textured aluminium foil facings, CG4000 is manufactured from rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) using blowing agents that have low global warming potential (GWP) and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP).
With Celotex CG4000 you are specifying an insulation board that:

Board types, thicknesses, thermal values and weights
The various applications for which Celotex products are appropriate are outlined above. To help you chose the best value solution for your needs we list the products below, firstly by product brand and thickness, then sorted in ascending thermal resistance values (R-Value).
To ensure that the most appropriate, best value, insulation is selected, it is advisable to compare the relative thicknesses and thermal values of the the various products available.
For example ...
Celotex GA4100 offers an R-Value of 4.50 in a 100mm thick board.
A stonewool slab with a density of 60m³ would require a thickness of 160mm to achieve the same R-Value - an increase in thickness of 60%. At July 5, 2010, the cost of Celotex GA4100 x 100 m² was £9.13 per m² versus Rocksilk RS60 160mm x 100m² which was £8.77 per m².
The cost saving of £0.36 (4%) should be considered against the 60% increased space requirement of the stonewool slab.
It should be noted that while the thermal values of a stonewool slab is considerably less than that of a PIR rigid insulation board, the acoustic insulation values of the stonewool slab will be very considerably more.
