**Note:
We advise serious caution when installing bubble-foil or single foil insulation in a roof void, due to the potential of condensation risk, which can lead to dry rot.
Such materials, when used at rafter level or at ceiling level, must completely seal the envelope of the structure, otherwise condensation will result.
For such an application, multi-foil insulation is by far the safest option, as they are specifically designed to inhibit condensation. However, single foil laminate is becoming popular with timber-frame manufacturers who, from the onset, have the ability to ensure the correct application of these materials.
